Karen's 8th visit to the sand sculpture contest on South Padre Island, Texas was a wonderful time,
as usual!
15 sculptors from the USA, Canada and Singapore packed up and carved 12 tonnes of sand for 23 hours over
3 days.
She won the 3rd Place People's Choice award with her piece "Surfin' Surprise"!
All the sculptors dressed up as pirates for a day and boarded the "Black Dragon" pirate ship fo a big party!
